The crew from Queens Botanical Gardens came to the boathouse today to execute the festive Taiwanese paint scheme on the Orchid Boat. Program director Wei Du and two interns, Abigail and LJ, worked with our own Dan Musick to turn an online photograph into reality. It all came together pretty quickly and promises to be a classy display platform for the big orchid show in August.
